Two years after the passing of his friend and fellow artist, “Maasai”, lbs. wrote the song “On Ward” as an affirmation to himself and his friend that he'd make sure that their dreams of being music artists come to true. Maasai was a goofy sage lyrical rapper who embodied the essence of King Bumi bust an Airbender. From music, friendships, and poetry Maasai brought his full attention to everything and everyone he interacted with.
